PhoenixFM currently have played my new track ''Half Hearted Man", and it was well received by the public.
It debuted on air Tuesday the 16th, August....So a Big Thankyou goes out to Anne Conway and Sue Tuitupou, and PhoenixFM for giving ''Half Hearted Man" radio air play.
A word from James:
"Am busy in the studio working on songs from my up and coming CD (still to be titled). The CD has 12 songs plus instumental intro's and outro's.
The song 'Ho Down in Ho Town', features harmonies and spoken word from Melissa Pascoe, all the way from Bendigo Victoria. Melissa is also gonna be singing in a few other songs on the album. Also ' Half Hearted Man' features Phillip Wally-Stack on Didgeridoo and tapping sticks! and talented artist Jacque Taylor will be coming into the studio to lay down some vocal tracks at a later date.
I'd like to give a Big thankyou to everyone else like Simon Kelly my bass player...... who's put so much time and effort into the album and performances. Big thanks to Richard for his patience and talent as well...I'm so happy that musicians are helping me put this album together, without there help this would not be happening..Thankyou guys!"
Just received some BIG news from outstanding radio presenter Shane Newton (Sydney) regarding my music and my career. It involves 'Good Morning Country' (Australia's number 1 country music radio show and winner of the peoples choice awards).
'Good Morning Country' is broadcast to over 100 different radio stations nationally via the (CRN) which provides a 24-hour satellite-delivered live stream of programs to community stations across Australia.
Bob Kirchner, editor of the Independent Country Music Bulletin and the organiser for the Australian Country Music People's Choice Awards is re-introducing the section in his Bulletin which includes an update of musical happenings around the country-side. He has asked Connie Kis Anderson to liaise regarding Western Australian Country Artists and Music news. James will be included in the Independent Country Music Bulletin....so stay tuned.
For 2 consecutive weeks James has been #12 on the ReverbNation HOT25 Country Chart (Worldwide)

Bill invited James and his band backstage for a beer and a chat.

'Cry Angel' and 'Coming Home' has been picked up by 2MNO FM Cooma NSW and 5efm radio Victor Harbor SA.
James along with Simon Kelly, Richard Bice and up and coming Drummer Mel....are in full fledge rehearsals.
So keep an eye out for James Scotts Upcoming Shows.
James is Currently working on his 1st original CD release which is due for release 2011.
This CD will feature various local artists and performers.
