The Current
James’ forthcoming CD will be his first full original album, which will also feature artists from all backgrounds and musical styles. Artists include Phillip Wally-Stack (Didgeridoo), Simon Kelly (Bass), Jacque Taylor (Vocalist), Melissa Pascoe (Vocalist) and many more.
Musically, the album shows James’ appreciation for all genres of music. Styles range from Celtic to Country and Hard Rock to songs with elements of Blue Grass/Southern Rock and Metal.
This diversity and how each style comes together creates a distinctive and interesting sound, which also shows James ability to mould genres, creating his own unique approach to music.
Due for release late 2011 will include songs like ‘Turn it up’, ‘Half Hearted Man’, ‘All for You’ and ‘Scarecrow’.
The popularity together with substantial radio requests for ‘Coming Home’, has influenced James to include this much loved song to the new up and coming CD.
James has also received a fantastic response to his music via the web on both his official facebook fan page and his reverbnation website. Increasingly growing popular in countries such as USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, New Zealand, Norway.

The Past
Independent artist James Scott has come a long way since his first debut country performance in Bendigo, Victoria in 2009. With James cover album ‘By Chance’ under his belt, along with his exceptional vocal ability, he became an instant hit among local country music fans, artists and radio personalities such as Olive Bice, Floreena Forbes, Anne Conway and Peter Sheahan.
James was taken under the guidance and help by Olive Bice (Victoria’s Queen of Country) and her son Richard Bice.
Richard continued on to become James’ producer and it wasn’t long until James released his second CD ‘Beggar’s and Thieves’’ in early 2010. This album raised more interest among fans and radio stations across Australia, receiving massive air play nationally for James’ first original country song’s ‘Coming Home’, ‘Beggar’s and Thieves’, ‘Time Piece’s and ‘Cry Angel’.
With 2 CD’s to showcase, James was soon being interviewed on various radio stations across Australia and performing live.
